What does WindRider program do for WindRiders? |

A desire to expand opportunities at TLS WindSled helped us realize we couldn't do it alone. How do you expand into new areas and get involved in events? We thought "why not offer this opportunity to people who want to be a part of something exciting and new?" with this in mind WindRider Sponsorship program came into being. Simply put, a WindRider is an individual with vision for the future. By joining WindRider a person can make a difference in how things are done.
Who are WindRidersA WindRider is anyone with vision for the future and desire to help launch new projects. WindRider membership is only $75.00 per year the funds are used for specific projects that are posted on this site. Current projects are displayed in the drop down menu under WindRider. When that event or project is complete the next one will be posted.

WindRider's are offered various discounts and free offers from TLS WindSled or it's associates. These discounts may be offered online or through brick and mortar establishments in a particular area in which the event or project is involved. For example a restaurant in Lake Geneva might offer WindRider members a discount. Their way of saying thank you for supporting our community event.
Type of Projects WindRiders SponsorSome WindRider projects involve events such as the Lake Geneva Hovercraft Ice Rides. Other projects might involve helping to fund a hovercraft for a rescue department or supply a hovercraft to be used in a public place for rides during a particular season.
Can a WindRider be involved in more than one project? Yes, TLS WindSled provides a means for WindRider members to support various projects without having to rejoin. Those opportunities are offered through our WindRider Member Page. Once you have joined WindRider you have an opportunity to select amounts you would like to contribute to other projects. These are optional and do not impact or change your status as a WindRider, however they do come with certain perks. |
