WindRider is a TLS WindSled program that gives you the opportunity to get involved. Registering as a WindRider you help sponsor various programs and events such as the Lake Geneva Hovercraft Ice Rides. WindRider members are offered access to a web page designed to keep our Sponsors updated on the progress of a particular project we are involved in.

1. Geneva Lake Ice Ride Expansion

For years hovercraft have been gathering on Geneva Lake in Wisconsin to take part in an annual winter event. After attending the event a couple of pilots got together and discussed the idea of expanding the event to include more public participation. As fate would have it the event in 2018 coincided with the Lake Geneva Winterfest program. Contact was made with the management team for the Winterfest and a proposal to include a Hovercraft Challenge in the event was given to the Winterfest team and from the very first meeting they were excited about having the hovercraft perform at the opening of their 2019 Winterfest program. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate, and the event was canceled.
However, the following year 2020 Hovercraft Ice Rides were sold for a fee, and it was a huge hit. We were back again in 2021 with something new. A ticket booth. In 2022 we added online booking and payment, plus a ticket trailer located at Geno's East Lake Geneva. Our new Ticket Trailer provided a heated environment for our staff and crew. We expanded our season by contracting with the village of Williams Bay and provided an additional 4 weeks of Ice Rides. 2023 We will be back hopefully starting as early as January 15, 2023, at the Williams Bay Boat Ramp 89 E Geneva Street Williams Bay WI. Possibly moving to Lake Geneva for Winterfest. We are working hard to complete our newest addition to our hovercraft fleet the TLSWS16 enclosed six passenger hovercraft. We are also considering the purchase of an 8-passenger hovercraft that will need to be upgraded to our winter specifications. WindRider Sponsors will help secure and modify this unit for Ice Ride Use. 2. Your Support As you can imagine an event like this requires some work and we have been working hard putting together all the details for this event. As with any project this event will cost some money to produce, we are working hard to keep those cost to a minimum, however we are also reaching a point where help from our sponsors will be required to make this an awesome and memorable event. Each new WindRider Sponsor will receive discounted ticket price on 2023 tickets plus a discount on our Hover Gear purchased on site at our ticket trailer.
